Olivia for Klaviyo
Olivia is an AI creative studio for consumer brands. With the Klaviyo app, you design on-brand emails in Olivia and save them to Klaviyo as templates in one click.
What you can do
• Save emails to Klaviyo. Every newsletter you design in Olivia can go to Klaviyo as an email template, with its images, links and alt text.
• Keep your real footer. Import the footer from your Klaviyo emails into your Olivia brand kit, so unsubscribe, company name and address tags keep working.
• Learn from your results. Olivia reads your campaign and flow results (opens, clicks, orders, revenue) and your lists, so it can suggest what to make next.
What Olivia can and can't do
Olivia only writes email templates. It never sends email, never creates or schedules campaigns or flows, and never changes your lists or profiles. Everything else it reads is read-only.
Before you start
To use the Klaviyo app you need:
An Olivia account with a brand set up (app.tryolivia.ai).
A Klaviyo account where you can approve apps.
Connect Klaviyo
From Olivia
Step 1: Sign in at app.tryolivia.ai and pick your brand.
Step 2: Open the Data page. On Home, click All connections, or go to app.tryolivia.ai/atlas?scope=data.
Step 3: On the Klaviyo card, press Connect Klaviyo.
Step 4: Klaviyo asks you to approve Olivia. Check the list of permissions and press Allow.
Step 5: You're back in Olivia. The Klaviyo card shows your account name, your lists and your last 30 days of results.
From Klaviyo
Step 1: In Klaviyo's App Marketplace, open Olivia and press Install (or go to app.tryolivia.ai/integrations/klaviyo/install).
Step 2: Sign in to Olivia if asked. If you have more than one brand, pick the one to connect.
Step 3: Press Allow on Klaviyo's screen. You land back in Olivia, connected.
If you press Deny, nothing is connected. Olivia tells you so, and you can connect again any time from the Data page.
Save an email to Klaviyo
Step 1: Design a newsletter with Olivia on a canvas (ask Olivia in chat, for example "Make a launch email for our new flavor").
Step 2: Click the newsletter to select it. A menu opens next to it.
Step 3: Under Export, press Export to Klaviyo.
Step 4: Olivia confirms "Exported to Klaviyo" with a link to open it.
Step 5: In Klaviyo, find it under Content → Templates → Email: saved. Use it in any campaign or flow.
Changed the email in Olivia? Press Export to Klaviyo again to update the same template.
Import your Klaviyo footer
Step 1: Select a newsletter and press Manage Klaviyo (under More).
Step 2: Press Import footer from Klaviyo.
Step 3: Olivia pulls the footer from your recent Klaviyo emails into your brand kit. Every new email uses it, with Klaviyo's tags intact.
Disconnect
In Olivia: Data page, then the Klaviyo card, then Disconnect (or Manage Klaviyo, then Disconnect). Olivia revokes its access with Klaviyo and deletes the stored keys. Olivia is removed from your Klaviyo integrations.
In Klaviyo: remove Olivia from your integrations. Olivia notices on its next call and shows the Klaviyo card as not connected, with a Reconnect button.
Templates you already saved stay in Klaviyo. To delete the email data Olivia stored for your brand, email us.
